I have been playing drum set and piano for 6 years. I played in the percussion ensemble, jazz band, and pit orchestra at Skyline and Highland high school. I also play with the SLAM Jazz Combo and various rock bands at local venues Like Kilby Court and Woodbine Food Hall. I am currently enrolled at The University of Utah, studying jazz percussion.
I am able to teach beginner to intermediate drum set, classical snare drum, and mallet percussion. I'm most proficient in swing and funk/rock, but I also teach rudimentary Brazilian and Afro-Cuban drumming.
